Ombudsman's Offices

All client advisers that provide financial services to retail clients must affiliate to a recognised ombudsman (Art. 77 FInSA).

The ombudsman's office conducts mediation proceedings regarding legal claims between the client and the financial service provider and require financial participation by the client adviser.
